If you are serious about improving your game, you have to spend time on the court. The more the better!
However, quantity alone is not enough. Just hitting balls and playing points helps, but true improvement will only come through specificity. You need to target very specific skills in order to perform enough repetitions to get better.
In this section, you will find all the tools you need to turbo charge your practices.
All you have to do is decide what area of your game you would like to improve and click on that drill section. You will immediately have access to a great variety of exercises that will help you improve your targeted skill.
For example, if you want to improve your doubles game, click the “Doubles Drills” section.
In each of the sections you will find different types of drills:
- Feeding drills: Exercises in which the coach feed balls with the racquet or tosses them.
- Combined drills: Exercises in which the coach feeds one ball to start the point or rally. After the feed, the two players will continue the drill hitting with each other.
- Live ball drills: These drills are executed among players. The coach only supervises.
- Wall drills: Exercises to improve your game against the wall.
Of course, if you are not playing with a coach, you or your partner can always assume the role of the coach and feed.
Finally, you will notice that some of the drills will appear in several categories. The reason for this is that some drills are useful to help you improve more than one skill.
