Jeremy Chardy – Serve Analysis

TennisGate Learning from the Best

https://vimeo.com/83625305 In comparison to Tommy Haas, Jeremy tosses the ball higher (3.90 m) but ends up making contact with the ball at about the same heght as Haas (3.10 m). Jeremy, as most professional is a true balance-miracle. He uses a huge knee bend, jumps extremely high and never loses his balance. We can observe this by looking at his straight torso at the and of his knee bend and at landing. (Total control of the torso.)
